Role: Graphic and Website Designer
Location: First floor, National Hotel, 47 Alpha Street, Cambridge
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, 8.30am to 5pm
Start date: ASAP until 9th September 2011 - Fixed term employee This employment is to replace our senior designer who is going overseas for 3 months. At the end of this term there may be an opportunity for ongoing freelance, part time or full time work. This will be negotiated at the end of this contract.
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
About Hanson Creative: We are a boutique design agency based in Cambridge. Offering advertising, graphic and website design work for clients from small businesses to corporate companies. We are a friendly team, based in nice offices, in a great little town. We are equipped with the latest hardware and software.
Responsibilities: You will take briefs from the Director or in some cases the client and produce design work to match that brief.
Personal skills required: Excellent communication and comprehension of ideas, the ability to contribute with creative input, sound design skills, the ability to take direction. Must work well in a team as well as showing personal initiative to benefit those around you. A good eye for detail, stong work ethic
Technical skills required: Adobe CS5 Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat. Dreamweaver, Flash an advantage. Ability to produce well designed, accurate artwork ready for the print process.
Education and experience: A relevant tertiary qualification is required as well as a minimum 2 years in the work- force.
